Last Wednesday Night 85 artists, sponsors, and supporters gathered for a fantastic night at the always amazing Spicers Tamarind Retreat, Maleny, to celebrate the 2019 Sculpture On The Edge Awards. The prize winners were announced and we sincerely thank all our sponsors, their generosity is appreciated and valued highly. Also much thanks goes to the judges Jodie Cox, John Waldron and Ineke Dane for their time and astute creative eye when selecting the winning works. Here they are:
First Prize ($7500) – Anew by Yanni Van Zijl
Runner Up ($500) – Outside Of The Stillness by Laura Vecmane
Environmental Award ($1000) – The Tall Trees Project by Miles Allen
Also awarded: Encouragement Award to Matthew Mohr
Matthew will receive valuable mentoring from judge John Waldron, to assist him in developing his work.
